Blink-182- are a kickass Punk/Rock band!

They are mostly made up of masturbation, dumbass behavior, childish pranks and a couple of catchy tunes. And it's that all put together that has sent them and their catchy tunes out of my ass, to doing concerts anyplace that you can name. And now they are touching the hearts of millions of fans all over the world.

Created in San Diego, California, USA, Blink-182- has come a long way. The band originally consisted of 3 members: Mark Hoppus (Singer/Bass Player), Tom DeLonge (Singer/Guitar Player), and Scott Raynor (Drums). These three crack-heads all came together and produced there self-released album, the Flyswatter EP, which appeared in 1993. This was then followed by the cassette only Buddha demo, released by Filter Records. These two music attempts weren't under the name Blink-182-, but just the name Blink. That's where the legal problems came in. You see there was some Irish Techno band that was already recording under the name Blink. So the band added the numbers "182" to the end of there name and have ever since been known as Blink-182-. There's many rumors that I've heard about what the numbers "182" mean, but the band says that they were simply made up. Anyways, their next CD to come out was the Cheshire Cat CD, which I think is what really started it off for them. So from that CD the next thing that the band knew was that they were playing at skateboard and snowboard scenes with well known bands such as NOFX and Pennywise. Then to follow up on Cheshire Cat, their next two CD's to grace our hearts were also a smash. One was a remake of the Buddha cassette in 1998, which was released by Kung Fu Records and their second one was their other smash hit record Dude Ranch in 1997, which was released by MCA/Cargo Records. Right after this Scott Raynor, one of the founding members, was replaced by Travis Barker. He was involved in their next major record, Enema Of The State, which was released by Grilled Cheese/Cargo Records in 1999. Since then they have released 2 more brand spankin new cd's. The Mark, Tom and Travis Show, which is practically an all live cd with all the funny shit that blink does, and there newest CD Take Off Your Pants And Jacket, which has a new blink sound with the same blink style to it that comes in 3 different cd's.
